The RS is a step above the GT3 and it is becoming quite evident that in the right hands one will be more capable than in the GT3. It may very well be that the GT3 is more accessible for a mere mortal but the RS deserves more respect/talent to extract its true potential.
Nobody should be surprised by this.

This is exactly what happens when Porsche provides a car where the handling is highly dependent on the adjustable F/R suspension setup. Take the time to understand your driving style, skill level, limitations, track configuration, and then setup the car.

Most people buying an RS will never track it.
So what's ultimately important for hoi polloi is what the car can do, not what it actually does.

The GT4 is also adjustable. Randy complained the first time he drove that also but I recall he admitted that the understeering he experienced could be manipulated with adjustments.
Hey - I am not defending the car but it is a beast(and looks the part)so I am sure it will take time to tame her. I have no desire to have one to be quite frank. Too much car for me but it would be nice for bragging rights but not my game.

Belongs in review thread, but repost anyway.
Porsche has been screwing up not setting up cars right for press and tests.
To suggest the GT3 is faster then the RS is idiotic and these guys should be judged as irrelevant for not doing their homework.

now they're trying to peddle psychedelic Kool-Aid , a car that has more HP, More down force ,
bigger contact patch and is lighter , is slower. yep thought so . makes perfect sense .
The only time at Sebring that I could pass Trakcar in my 3 it was pouring rain , the explanation for that occurrence his $12k fender
wasn't insured and my $1.2K fender was , other wise no way can I out run an RS in the right hands and I have passed some in the
not so skilled handed department
