I thought I made it very clear that the video shows nothing definitive. We never got any of the pulls right. We'll find out at the airstrip.
The sound my car makes isn't all that different from the GMG bypass with the valve disconnected. I could understand the placebo effect going from stock to this, but there is no question my car is faster than it was. The car also launches much differently using LC. (Not to mention the 55 whp delta on the dyno.)
Looking forward to the airstrip! We will definitely be able to do some "testing" there!
There will be several combinations to sort through. Stock 991 GT3s, Stock 991 RSs, along with a few 997 variations. All of us trying desperately to match Tasman's times.
Jamie, if you want to send me the vbox, I'll do before and after tests. It will take me a bit to get everything finished as I'm headed on vacation last week of March. However, I'd be glad to do it, though I can't promise Matt-quality videos.
It's a post cat O2 sensor defeat device that plugs in between the rear O2 sensor and the factory plug. Haven't tested it, and 911_RS is likely going to wait for the Dundon tune for his RS since he's going this route anyway... this doesn't allow the car to reach emissions readiness, it's really just a way to keep the light off
The things with CEL's is if you're not planning on doing a tune for the headers, and you absolutely 100% have to have the CEL stay off, it is safest to wait until we have our catted system finished. As I've said a few times, there is the slight possibility the CEL can come on and if this is of great great concern, then a tune or catted system is right for you!
If you want a code reader, OBDII flashing device and code clearer (it's what we use to the OBDII tune the GT3/RS) you can PM me for pricing/details and you'll have the handheld flasher that is required for tuning the ecu and the ability to read codes and clear them. This doesn't replace durametric or PIWIS in the least, but it does allow for easy handheld operation!

Delete-R to my knowledge is connected to OBDII and it cancels ALL codes as they come. Not only CEL.
I was told that this device is not safe for this reason. I had ECU flash with my Akra system so didn't need to use this.
That was BMW and Porsche might be different though but I doubt it.
I have the delete-r installed on my 2015 GT3 along with the Akrapovic Evolution Race Exhaust. The delete-r does not connect to the OBDII. The rear bumper will need to come off for installation. The device is hidden inside the engine compartment. It will only eliminate codes caused by the catalysts converter. So far, so good, been on the car for 500 miles already. Attached is the installation instructions if your interested in where it plugs in.
