Couldn't resist giving it a try - just took it for a short drive to warm it up fully and found a nice quiet back road with decent looking surface. Put it in PDK Sport, stepped on the brake and floored it then let off the brake.

All hell does break loose - the LC indicator comes on, the tire instantly hook up and I'm down the road like stink on ****!

Disneyland doesn't have anything to compare with that ride!

It's really impressive, especially for a rear wheel drive car!

The car is most definitely as fast as the magazines say. I ran my car today for the heck of it and ran an 11.30 @ 123.9 with a 1.78 60 ft. Insane 60 foot time for a rwd car on street tires. Launch control does result in substantially faster times than just flooring it from a stop.

Here's my 11.267 run .....1.68sec 60 foot using launch control

Shame the camera wasn't rotated to the right a little...We were neck and neck the whole way.

I've since had a more aggressive wheel alignment to suit the circuit and the launch control doesn't work anywhere near as well (less tire on road I assume).

Perfect timing on the launch. GTR's Seem to be set up more for a qtr mile than a GT3. Never ceases to amaze me how versatile the 991 GT3 is. Not a drag car but fills that slot pretty darn nicely. The Turbo S is faster in a qtr mile, and 0-60, but not by much. Sweet

Nothing but awesomeness from the 991 GT3. It really does have everything.

Thanks for posting Speedah!!! Great job. It sounds like it hooked up right away with minimal wheel spin. Did you have drag tires or vary your normal air pressures?

Great job man. Awesome 60' foot times. I too am amazed that a 475 hp car can have repeated low 11s but monsters like the C7 Z06 and Hellcats are all governed by traction.
