Might also want to make sure your car isn't one of the defective ones that only allows LC with the TC on.

I would be very surprised if launch control with pdk sport auto didn't produce the best 1/4 mi time. Seems like every review I have watched or read produces 11.2-11.3 1/4 mi times using this technique. I have done launch control a couple of times and it's insanely fast - u can ask the guy in the P85 tesla that tried to race me!

My friend just got his C7 ZO6 and wanted to beat up on me at the drag strip, lucky me my traction control is better than his I was able to run .6 sec. faster all night 1/8th mile.

My guess is LC isn't going to work so well at the drag strip with all of that rubber on the pavement. If the car doesn't hook-up, it will basically go limp. If it's a particularly slick track, you may end up a little sideways. Ask me how I know...

And no video.. What? We should had seen a good 3 part 1 hour each of you explaining how it went. Plus a follow up video of the cleaning after.

There's a therapy group for Vette owners who lose to lower HP cars.

The reason for this thread is that I don't suspect there are many people who take their GT3s to the drag strip as many of us are road race peeps.

However the Stop Light Grand Prix will always be popular and I don't have data on the best way to launch the car. The most telling data points will all be on the time slip. 60 foot times and E/T will tell all.

Dude, you are missing my point. I didn't get the GT3 as a drag car.... I just want more data and know the best way to launch the car, backed up by data.

I did this just for a reference point last winter.
TTS with Stage2 GIAC.
Launch control works well with 4wd!

I love having a car that is fast fun and competitive in any venue I choose.
