Default How much did you pay for your RS, is it PTS?

You lucky dog you have an RS or a confirmed order for an RS. How much did you pay for your car?

This poll is ANONYMOUS.

The second part of the poll asks if your car color is standard (including UV and LO), PTS quick ship option (Miami, Black, Racing Yellow) or true PTS.

Choose one of the top 9 and one of the bottom three options.

For everyone answering the first portion, please choose a color option.

As I assumed not many paying the alleged "market" price that everyone is applauding these stealers for listing their RS's at. Yes there are stupid people and stupid people with more money than sense so I am sure some are being sold at these ridiculous prices but not many on this forum. Great job and nice work.

well, I always feel Rennlist is a skewed sample. Very informed, very networked. I think that there are plenty people paying $300k+ for RS cars. On ebay, you can sort by sold and see actual selling prices vs asking. Although, there certainly seem to be several on there right now. My guess is that those dealers have nothing to lose by trying, and realize that they are a bit overpriced and will come down.

I would be curious of the PTS orders in this poll, how many paid MSRP vs. a premium. I have been transparent that I had to pay a small premium. I would not have done so for a regular paint RS.

I don't think asking $300K is unreasonable. Its a fair price to ask if you are selling the RS due t its limited availability. By the time you pay tax and fee's the OTD price is round $250K. I believe many have paid $50K over for previous generation RS's.

Nah, maybe last time money was cheap. 2007-2008. A little premium for a short while. But this is IMO a thing we have never seen with Porsches. Maybe someone that is a bit older than me can chime in if this ever happened in the 70s and 80s?

RS was never a very popular car outside the true enthusiasts and track people. Things have changed with the 991.

hmmmm, So are we saying if you have a RS for sale you should not be paid more than MSRP meaning you sell the car with $25K loss? What about the supply and demand?

I have paid over for a car before and had no problem. Value to you is a personal decision. A 100k has a different "value" to everyone here.

Comment was my opinion on if earlier RS have been sold at hefty markups. The market is what it is today. Could be MSRP and could be $150k over.
