That Spotless filter system....how well does it work?
It works fine. I only use it for final rinse or you would run through the filters fairly quickly. Best upgrade was getting the extension hose for the Master Blaster so I don't have to drag the unit around the car.

Note that the CR Spotless is just a tank with water softener resin inside. When it’s saturated, you have to replace it since it doesn’t have the mechanism to regenerate it like a normal water softener.

Alternatively, you can just get a water softener for your home if you don’t already have one, and hook it up to a hose bib somewhere for washing the car. BOOM, unlimited “spotless” water! (Not just for rinsing)

how fast does water run through this system? Ive heard that it slows down the pressure and so the pressure fron the kränzle? I also have the kränzle but not yet the cr, im sure best result when rinsing is just A hose and the cr not using the kränzle, right?

First season last year. In my experience it slows down water flow. I also get an annoying spray out of the outlet connection, think I just need to tweak the fittings. I have a Kranzle as well. I was intending to use the Kranzle in hopes of using less water thereby saving resin. However may just use hose gun for final rinse and give that a shot.

It does work well though! Saves drying although it delays when I can go over the car with Carpro Reload if the water is left to air dry.

I tested water solids before buying to ensure they weren't high as this would eat resin and if really high reduce effectiveness of system.

I have a whole house salt based water softening system in my primary home, and a Master Blaster to dry with. It seems to work fine But I do some of my car washing, and all of my aircraft washing, at my Hanger. Lots of room to work inside, much better lighting, and a much nicer floor drain system. However, there the water is hard enough I think I could do an imitation of the Biblical ‘Walk On Water’ thing. So spot removal is indeed a Royal PITA. I have heard that RO (Reverse Osmosis), also works well. Has anybody tried one of those systems?

Yes, a bit off topic folks, but since we are discussing it here I thought I would ask.

Yes, I've always ran my 4 post lift without being bolted down. 10+ years.

Anyone install one of these already? If so, would appreciate feedback as I am considering adding a couple to my space.

A sundeck connects them all.

Wow, a very-very nice space. The 1:43 collection adds ambiance to the space. Well Done!
