I'm using Harrys Laptimer and it can get the pulse data from my iPhone.
The puls data can be recorded using a device that is compatible with Apples Health Kit.
I used a iWatch 1 for it but if I would consider using something else, maybe the Polar H7, because the iWatch 1 runs out of battery after maybe 4 hours: Which means you must remember turning it on/off which I'm having trouble remembering.
The pulse data is recorded outside of HLT but HLT request the data when producing the graph or the overlay video.
The reason for this was that I was interested in what my heart rate is during my driving on the Nordschleife after I heard about how high the heart rate is for F1 drivers.
Unfortunately I had troubles with my 997 GT3: It would have been interesting to see if the heart rate goes up considering that you shift your self.
Not sure if what we see here is just some easily removed stains or what: (Car in hibernation so I can not check it now - saw it in the picture as of now.)
Sorry i don't have picture as my car is on dealers service at the moment.
But you could check the 918 Spyders from mobile.de and you will find brand new cars without these seat side supports.
As far as I know this seat side support was not the original design. Also I remember that one Rennlist member posted the picture of the brand new GT3/RS where factory "forgot" to install one side support to the seat.
A Lotus or Caterham caught fire in Quiddelbacher Höhe.
What I've heard there was a contact between the Lotus and a yellow 458, whichafter the Lotus hit an asteroid and burst into flames... Altogether the whole weekend seemed to be quite a carnage over there.

Yes I saw a 458 there with damages on its left side.
This happened on the Tuesday which was a rather OK day.
Sunday was chaos and the trackday with DSK on Monday was not much better.

Didn't find any on mobile.de but I might not done my work properly :-)
Newfound twin friend follows until exit Fuchsröhre where we change places. Some yellow, partially wet but mainly a dry line. A bit compromised on some important places on the track. Nice lap though.

Is it easy to remove them?
I found some pictures for you.First picture is what I mentioned befor (Rennilst members car without one side piece) Other pictures are from mobile.de brand new 918 Spyders for sale.
Yes,it's easy to remove. One minute job with proper tool "blue stick"
This piece is installed with rubber strap and double-sided tape. After the piece is removed you just need to clean this double-sided tape from carbon fiber and that's all.
But I didn't removed it myself. The guy from Porsche dealr checked it from computer first how it was installed and then it was really easy to remove.
I removed the side things but put them back in on the outside of the seats because I bought the seat protection covers.
Nice lap with the other white RS
Wet, yellow flags and lots of traffic. Still faster then I have ever gone BTG, you're my hero.
Must have been quite the sight to see 2 white RS screaming by!
