thx for correcting it lessthan3mph.
i looked it up:
from will:
A PTSRS Exclusive: Presenting the first known PTS Dark Sea Blue (meerblau; non-metallic; A5G) 911 R, awaiting delivery at Zuffenhausen. This example has Porsche Exclusive CXX hood stripes and side decals in Bright Silver, almost resembling White in this shot. No info on build number or where its final destination will be.

911R for sale with standard seats!-Is this for real?
Can one get the R with standard seats? They look terrible BTW...

911R Seats
Adaptive Sport Seats were optional. Maybe that's why the car is available. Dual-mass flywheel is also a market problem. A car with A/C, LWFW and black interior is very difficult to find for sale right now in the U.S.

sounds a bit like desperation speculation.. like he was so happy he got an R that he was already counting the $$$'s, and he didn't bother to think critically about whether it was the right "R"... and yes, this can only be described as speculation when a second owner purchases and then immediately turns around and tries to resell.

But its not a track car.
And the 18-ways are super comfy, offer plenty of support when not on track and offer a ton of leg room for the long legged.
Is prefer it but agree they look like crap.

Value
Right now a car with the "right" equipment will bring 550-650k. And that's if you can find one. If this person paid in the 4's he can probably get out whole or even do better. The car is exceptional. There are plenty of people that don't fit in the full bucket seats. I don't care for the 18 way seats but it can't ruin 911R.
