Seats don't cost that much. And I'd much rather have the
18-ways on a cruiser anyway.

How much would it be for one with SMFW, lift, bucket seat, AC and true PTS?

Default True PTS For Sale?

Anything is possible. But how many true U.S. PTS R's are there? 15? I'm pretty certain that PCNA vetted these owners very carefully. I can't imagine that one would be for sale. I had to document my entire Porsche history in writing from 1980 until present to get a GT Silver car. But....Thank you PCNA, Thank you. My car is on the boat. It won't be long now.

You are right. I wouldn't sell my R in the foreseeable future, it's a keeper for sure especially with my unique paint scheme!

I guess we now know that the "wrong" options can cost you 6 figures...I don't know if that's crazy or funny or both.

The best Rs are 'stripe to sample'. Paint to sample is so 2015 ;-)

where does that stand in comparison to 'not-true' PTS but stripe to sample?

Why? Not every owner are planning to flip their R. Actually most R owners don't. That's why they got one in the first place.

Not counting the dealer principals, as those dealer owner 918 owners have a proper license from Porsche to flip anything they got through the 918 VIP program.

A car should be ordered according to what the owner wants, not what the market wants.

If the original 1967 911R can now be sold into the millions, this 2016 911R will come close to it in due time. The accolades practically from all journalists made, on top of its true engineering deliverance for the purists and enthusiasts were met and satisfied, besides a "Numbered" production run, made the pricing of this car where it is at right now.

I just admire this 911R for what it delivered to the driver, Pure FUN and ENGAGEMENT.

Drive safe,

Default Value. Who cares.

It's just not about the money. The 911R is a labor of love. It's a beautiful thing.
