From a source who I trust provides VERY accurate information on Porsche GT cars. See below. As always this is just conjecture, do NOT shoot the messenger. He seemed to think that the next round of GT car allocation and then production would not take place until all 911 Turbo variants are finished. Next fall possibly.

Honestly I see it as 50/50 right now. If I had to place a bet though, I’d bet that there will be no more .1 RS cars available. I have an email from the vehicle allocation manager at PCNA telling me that “there will be no GT-3 production moving into 2016”. We were discussing a couple GT-3 allocations for one of my 918 guys; we were not talking about the RS. We will see!
I do think that when the next RS is available there will be a few special colors or tweaks to what’s offered.. Thanks and keep in touch!

Makes sense that Porsche would stop the actual manufacture of all non-turbo cars (other than the 981 lines) at the end of this calendar year, although the actual delivery of those NA GT cars may continue into spring of 2016.

Spoke with many porsche dealers over the past couple of weeks, they all expected GT3 production to end in December, some heard rumors of a possibility in which GT3 production may extend till Q1 of 2016, but no ones heard anything so still expecting it to end in December, thankfully was able to get an allocation with expected delivery in december

This is the most interesting thing in this thread.. Could change everything.. Quiet Ferraris and lambos for one.. But joking aside, that's brutal!.. Talk about neutering the sports car experience. People with "old" cars with NA engines and (gasp) valves in their exhausts better hold on tight to their machines.
So this law is no retro-active...

New sound emissions test method here: http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-conte...4R0540&from=DE
I'll quote the relevant portion:
"If the vehicle has different modes that affect sound emission, all modes shall comply with the requirements of this Annex. In the case where the manufacturer has performed tests to prove to the approval authority compli* ance with those requirements, the modes used during those tests shall be reported in a test report."
