Very interesting. Odd how they are using the correct VIN in their actual listing but not for the build sheet. On their ad they list the color as gray so I think you're definitely correct on the wrap. 'Slime' seems to be about right for the color name.

PS. I know you revised your post (since I am subscribed to this thread).
But to clarify for all, it's not the principal (Ingram) owner's car. This gt3
was ordered by Roads Scholar's minority shareholder, although still a
partial owner of the business.

has anyone take delivery of their 2016 GT3 yet? I received an allocation @ MSRP and jumped on it...did agate grey with minimal options (MSRP around $146k; lift, black headlights, SC w/ white gauges, aluminum footwells to name a couple)

I have been told the vehicle should arrive before Xmas...

Interesting to read everyone's perspective on buying a GT3/RS and what drives these crazy prices. I am so glad I was able to get an allocation/build after over a year of trying (would NOT pay over MSRP). The prices on the RS's are insane (buy 2 GT3's for the price of one RS??)...time will tell. This is a machine, that may or may not be an investment, but will be driven and loved!

So will there only be 150-250 2016 GT3's in North America? And to confirm, there are no 2016's with PTS?

Thanks for all the info...glad I joined this site and looking forward to learning even more about Porsche!

Eduardo, these guys at Bentley Gold Coast threw me off. It's actually a WHITE car with a wrap. I also was being careless with the cut/paste of the VIN's ..

997.2 GTS- congrats on your allocation. I got one as well, at msrp. My delivery date to the dealer is estimated around Jan 20th. I went gray as well and kept it relatively low spec.

I also received a '16 allocation at MSRP after a lengthy wait... My Black car is currently on the Michigan Highway and is scheduled for Houston around Thanksgiving. The exact number of allocations is unknown to my knowledge but most suspect it is around 100-150 for US soil.

Eduardo, the resident PTS expert, confirms NO PTS on the bonus '16 allocations.

Congrats on your car. The wait is painful.

It was confirmed by an official of 'Porsche Exclusive' that should
know - Melissa Witek. I am just the messenger.

Congratulations to all that were able to get a '16 gt3 allocation!

When did you guys put your name in to get an allocation?

I put my name on my dealer list in May and they 'promised' to get me one. But reading here and getting word back from SEVERAL other dealers I reached out to, I think I'm too late...and now looking at the used market, there is VERY little NOT above MSRP. Which I can't see myself doing.

This situation is beginning to wear on my patience.

There have been a handful of GT3's with very low miles for around MSRP.

The White Florida one for sale by owner had like 300 miles and could have been had for MSRP. I think he listed for $3K over. It eventually sold (in the last 7 days) after like 3-4 weeks on the market.

Please prove me wrong. Looking for white, PCCB, 18-ways, miles under 5k.

You are wacky! I'd take $205k and run.

If white is your color, you have a very good chance eventually. I think 50% of all GT3's are white. If not, at least 30%. There's a lot! Great classic color though!

Here's the one that sold AT MSRP!

No PCCB though.

Mine has arrived at dealer...just need to pick it up or ship it. Hopefully in the next two weeks. I think you will like my color choice.
