^ this is one of my beefs with the ferrarichat ads, they have such a strict policy that you can't say anything negative about a post, comment on pricing, everything is politically correct..."glws", "great car", "won't last long"............takes the community out of the commentary and does not allow for a internet forum market adjustment.

Not sure what the perfect solution is guys. We've discussed it here.

https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...-issue-10.html

I think the easy one is make more cars. The one thing that would make crickets out of this whole issue.

I have asked several times our readers to report any confirmed

Porsche calls their rank-and-file sales guys "Certified Porsche Ambassador" That's what it said on my salesman's business card

It is annoying to sell a car here. It serves no purpose to criticize someone else's for sale thread. I was trashed here for wanting 5k over when the dealer paid MSRP and sold it 3 days later for 15k over.

What something is worth is what someone is willing to write a check for. You can only state what it's worth to you. The no over MSRP stuff is BS if market price is over MSRP.

I couldn't agree more. You sell your car for what it is worth to let go. People can bitch all they want but it serves no purpose in your thread to sell the car. If you don't like the price, start your own thread and don't mess up a sale.

+1

People should really refrain from telling other people what a fair price is for a car -- either as a seller or buyer.

Doesn't even have clear side markers yet! Previous owner must not have been a Rennlister!

What you sell your car for is your business, and if you make a profit good for you! Value is what someone else is willing to pay or not to pay and that will set the market.

I think the complaint here is people doing it when it is not their car. Some individual user accounts on various Internet Brand owned forums go way overboard posting too many cars for sale at prices that are just not interesting at all. Once there is a certain number of them it gets annoying. I can find those dealer cars a million other ways and they get in the way of finding cars that are enthusiast owned or interesting in some way other than new top of the line.

If I had it my way people could flag forsale ads as "not serious" and a certain number of such votes (by user, not by posting) would take the ad into a separate subforum.

In the big scope of things, who cares. Spend your money as you see fit. We could go around in circles here. Sellers complaining about buyers, buyers complaining about sellers, blah blah. Comments in actual "for sale classifieds" is uncalled for.

The supply/demand issue always works itself out naturally. The comments are just that. Comments. Let's move on.

Any other nice cars you've seen for sale? I hate the high maintenance of black, but boy does that one with the PCCB's look sharp!

Any nice cars anyone has seen for sale? Thinking about selling? A few guys I've chatted with are actively looking.

I wanted to post because I lowered the price on the car. It is now at $158,500 OBO which is close to $10k below msrp. So for those who are curious if there are any GT3's below sticker out there, here's one for you.

https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...ng-yellow.html

I thought the car was sold. I had a gentleman put down a deposit on the car (the remainder would be paid within 10 days of the deposit). He said he was going to fly in to look at the car but that never happened. Now, he's not even communicating any more and its been past the 10 days. We had settled on the price of $158,500 but since this sale seems to have fallen through, I wanted to update the price on the forum. I think it's a good value but I know that's been a debated topic on here.

I'm happy to answer any questions so feel free to PM, email, call, or text me. Thanks!
