Garry - your work is outstanding. I love the inserts with the 911R houndstooth fabric you made for me, and can't believe how easy they were to install. Thank you!

Your car looks awesome. I have the same on the way from Garry and really looking forward to seeing them on the car. And those Singer decals look killer on you car. I have a set of those exact decals on my garage walls.
Installed Garry's covers on my Arrow Blue .2 GT3 this weekend. They're great! Fit just like the OEMs I took off. In my case I went with a retro look - blue/black wool pepita. Love them!

That car, color, spec and interior - very very nice spec! Congratulations!!
Somehow Garry sourced OEM material. Received my Geyser / Agate Grey inserts today! Perfection. Will pair perfectly with Slate Grey. Install this weekend. Feel really dumb for spending $4k on OEM inserts including cores. It's so easy to swap that it's silly to spend the money as long as Garry's are still available.
I just received mine this morning and they look awesome. Perfect color for my Agate Spyder and the material is a nice heavy weight. Going to install tonight.
I worked with Garry from Classic FX. Garry was extremely helpful with consulting the unlimited fabric options. Needless to say, he blew us away with the final product. It looks like the inserts are straight from the factory with the added benefit of saving significant $$ and getting the car three months sooner! Thank you, Garry!

Man, I smiled so hard upon seeing this. In 2016 I think I was one of the first on Rennlist to order from Garry, when he was just selling fabric and I had to go to an upholstery place to have my inserts made. I loved the look with my black/red pepita inserts, and my next step was tartan. Seeing these inserts looking so perfect on your car, I realize that I need to have a new set made for my gt3. I had been putting it off but no longer. Beautiful work, love how it turned out on your car. Enjoy.
I had the pleasure of meeting Garry at his shop while traveling in London this week - a great guy and excellent craftsmanship at his shop. The 50/50 black/silver material seems to be identical to the OEM houndstooth in a 911R I saw, and they fit perfectly. I just finished replacing these with my stock inserts and I'm very happy with the result:
Behind is the stock GT3 touring material.
A note to anyone replacing theirs, the passenger bottom cushion is secured not only by velcro but also two white clips which snap into a small metal rod within to the cushion. Another thread mentioned difficulty unsnapping it with pliers or a screwdriver, but in my case, I found I could push down and up to unhook the cushion. It took a few tries, but they came out relatively easily. It's hard to see what you're doing as the clips are under the cushion, but this is what they look like:
There are 2 located near the rear of the seat:
Here's the bottom of the seat cushion with the metal rods which snap into the clips:
Only the passenger bottom cushion had these clips on my car - the other cushions were just secured with velcro and remove easily.
Bumping this post as it is the one you need to read before installing. I just did mine and it was immensely helpful. My technique for the loops on the passenger-side was to remove the front of the cushion as far back as I could until I could see the loops and then PUSH DOWN AND TOWARDS THE CENTER OF THE SEAT and then they pop right out quite easily. Also to clarify that these loops are towards the BACK of the lower cushion on either side.
My question is what are those two clips for? I got them off with a little finagling but there was no way to get them back on when I reinstalled as they just sunk into their holes if you put pressure on them. I assume that other thing is the sensor, as the airbag sensor is working fine post installation, but I left those clips undone and was still curious of their purpose .
