i'm thinking of replacing my GT3 , not sure why
#197
Not sure why, but I am left totally blah when I look at Ferrari's, P1's, Lambos, etc. They seem like they are trying to be too futuristic. I saw the new i8 BMW at the dealership. Price was marked down to $130k. Did nothing for me. Sure, it was nice. But I felt no passion for it.
I am sure these cars are bat**** crazy cool, but just not feeling anything for their stylng. I get more excitement looking at my GT3 with the car cover on it. I am sure I am in the minority.

I do like the 650 / 675 LT McLaren and the 570 GT / 570 S (540 I think will be a great value car) but think the P1 is way too much in terms of looks.
I do like Ferraris I think they keep it futuristic but with enough class that it does not look like a spaceship and can still pas for a car. The F12 is beautiful, the FF as well and the 488.
Porsche 911 has been my favorite car since I was 5 or 6, I am now 34. I do respect all the other cars mentioned above but nothing steals my heart like a 911 does.
I have never driven a Lambo nor have I driven a McLaren so maybe the one day that I do I will agree with the "spaceship look"

Hi
the GT3 not exciting so much
i don't really understand why
maybe because come with PDK , not Manual
the limit are so high on street driving , so the car not scaring me at all.
"weak" engine power and torque compare to V8 / V10 cars.
i'm not sure what car can be more exciting to drive
maybe all the new car a too prefect/too safe , and no longer exciting?
someone feel the same?

I think P1 and Lambos look more like spaceships than they do cars, so I guess we agree. The only current lambo I like in terms of looks is the Huracan.

with room full of posters of 993 Turbo
and my mom bought me hats and suites of Porsche
and in general i always feel like a "Porsche guy" then other brands.
i'm 35 years old.
but recently i feel other brands might be better for me
i can't ignore the amazing sound when i stand in front of Lambo Huracan
and the beauty of more "exotic" look cars.
you feel you driving on more "special" car.
too bad i didn't liked the Huracan when i test drive it , maybe i need more time with it.
McLaren cars , look fantastic
i saw 650S , it's look 10 times better then in pictures
never drove one of them.
Ferrari 458 , i tried it for 15 minutes on track , love it !
458 Speciale , if i could afford this car , i think i will keep it for 20 years.
it think it's a Perfect car.
