I have heard great things about the 991 GT3 on the track, but have not seen a lot of posted times. I searched and did not see a consolidated thread. Perhaps we can start that here. If you please, post the date, track (and track config if appropriate e.g., Pocono North), lap time and any mods to the car. As a bonus, if you have it we'd love to see the video

zeperfs.com is a nice website that compares all production cars performance and some lap times. They give manufacturer's data as well as the real life measured performance and lap times by different magazines and tests.

Haha - the top Thunderhill time on fastestlaps.com is somehow my time, even though I did not submit anything anywhere. Anyway, it has been beaten by me and others by over a second since then.

1:35.7 at Barber is seriously fast for a completely stock street car on street legal tires.

If you are saying 1:55 over the top that seems really fast to me.

I sat right-seat with Max last summer at TH for one session. Immediately - on the out lap, around T6 - I said to myself "I'm gonna need to tap out!". I thought I was gonna die!

So, not sure of the exact time or configuration, but damn, that dude is FAST!

No, it's bypass. I've done low 1:55.x bypass since. OTT is about 2.5-2.6 sec slower for me. I do not know how that time got to the site - probably someone found my vid and posted.

So nothing earth-shattering, but still pretty good for an unmodified daily driver on OEM tires.

It should be possible to get into at least high 1:55s OTT with a ballsier driver even on stock tires, because when I did 1:55s bypass I was lifting a little for 7 and braking a lot for 8 because of too much over-steer in my set up. At least a second was lost in 7-8-9 section just because of that.

That is fast regardless- it foots though with other measures of comparison. 1:57 ish is the benchmark and PCA club record OTT with finely tuned .2 GT3's IIRC, and done by 24Chromium if not mistaken, on slicks of some type. Locally at PIR my GT3 just matched within .3 seconds of my best TT time in my old .2 GT3 on R6 with MCS, full Akra etc, etc. I'll post the youtube as soon as I can.
