Nate, assume those decals are all CXX? Did you have any issues getting them ordered? Car looks good, actually surprised how good it is with those colors. Congrats

'Nogaro Blue'...
RS2 it built back in 1994/1995. The RS 2 was built at Porsche's Rossle-
Bau plant in Zuffenhausen.

As you know, I responded in the other thread you posted your question:
I believe it's 'Nogaro Blue', an Audi color used by Porsche on the Audi
RS2 it built back in 1994/1995. The RS 2 was built at Porsche's Rossle-
Bau plant in Zuffenhausen.

How long do feasibility studies usually take? Can it be requested without an active order?

The decals were CXX options, my dealer took care of working with Porsche Exclusive for me - it did take a few weeks to get them approved and then the color sorted etc. Unfortunately, I waited too long to ask for the side intakes to be painted Viper Green as well.

Looks spectacular. Totally agree with putting orange wheels on it. Will really tie it together. Maybe go crazy and order another set of uprights and paint those orange?
Feel your pain about not getting side intakes painted body color. Maybe it can be done aftermarket.
Once again congrats and hope you keep it and enjoy it.

you get real close. And I mean real close! Most people think
of the original RS 2 as a solid color. You can get that color
done by your local auto painter on a sample board without
going 'metallic' and submit it to PAG. It will be known forever
more as 'Dr. G's Nogaro Solid Blue' & you'll be famous!
It could take one year to two years to get a color approved.
It took over one year to get 'Chartreuse' or 'Lindgrün', color
code 226, approved. The former was requested without
an active order. But most dealers will not push for it unless
they know the customer well & thinks he/she is a good
future potential customer! But it can be done. It was for
GreenLantern's request for 'Chartreuse' at Sonnen Porsche
in Marin.

PS The official Audi color code for 'Nogaro Blue' is LZ5M.

I was going for a more retro look on the colors - but went with the more modern looking decal set. The factory sent me foil samples to pick the color from, so it's more than likely the only one like it. If I keep it, I'll probably get orange wheels from HRE or BBS made. Here's the only one of the full car they sent which is a bit blurry:
Both decal and colour choice.
Definitely a one of.
Congrats.

Hello,
One of my first post...
I was in the Antibes Porsche Center (Between Cannes & Nice - France) the 12th of february and this model have been introduced in the show room.
It is a replica of the 997 Sport classic (the owner also have this one) with the Sport Classic grey. I did'nt manage to see it again...

Congrats on your Viper RS Nate. Very well thought out and hopefully you plan on keeping it. Only surprise to me is you went with the black LED's, so I figured you would've also went with the satin or gloss black wheels. You once told me you try to match the wheels to the lights.
