That's a BS number, I have the invoice, it costs the dealer $3k but they do get an extra allocation, just not an extra GT allocation. Worst case you should be able to pay the $3,000. I split it 50-50 with my dealer to get it done. It still pissed me off, but ED for $1500 was worth it to me (and my wife!).

Agree that figure is BS. My dealer is trying to force a $3k charge and didn't share that they get an extra allocation. Either ED should be offered free, as per the sticker price, or it shouldn't. Dealers shouldn't be allowed to play with this well intended PR vehicle (pun intended).
