Brian was indeed one of our dearest Prime Ministers...but no Almer 'Mike' Monroney! I think this is the one Werner is looking for!

I don't know if that was spell check or what, but yeah, MONRONEY sticker. Seriously, it's 2015 and we still have to read descriptions about a GT3 that says it has electric windows?
Looking forward to a photo of your car. Mine is still wandering in the Caribbean
Thanks. I've asked the dealer to take some pictures and email me as soon as possible. I'll post them as soon as I get them. That will have to do for a bit as I'm away for about a week. It's getting shipped to my detailer who will do a full prep and xpel wrap.
It's really strange what's going on with your boat. I didn't know that a car delivery ship is like a bus.

The report I get says that the 'Bangkok Highway' is just off the coast of Brazil in the Atlantic as of 6 hours ago.
That is not where you would expect to find a ship carrying your Porsche to the West Coast since that's quite a detour
from the Panama Canal route from Europe!
The ship is now south of Recife (and below the Equator),
just off the city of Salvador on the Brazilian state of Bahia!

for PAG & PCNA since they can't invoice until the cars get to port.
hlee: You are not kidding when you say 'wandering' in the Caribbean! So that others know,
the 'Bangkok Highway' is now just of coast of Colombia and heading into Cartagena.
You would think next it would head towards the Panama Canal. But you would be guessing wrong. I just received word that the
'Bangkok Highway' will first go to Cuba & off-load some newer Volgas, Ladas, Moskvitches, GAZs and ZiLs ordered by Raul!
These Russian 'beauties' are needed to supplement the diminishing stock of old 'American Iron' from the 1950's
still rolling around in Cuba!

Look it at the positive side, the information received says it's now 'underway using engine'.
That is a positive development since for the past week it was using just
its older canvas sails!
But unfortunately, running the engines uses up expensive fuel...
which the 'Bangkok' can't afford. So the ship is scheduled shortly
to turn its engines off & go only with its 'SkySail', an innovative
paragliding propulsion system!
But don't worry, the 'Bangkok Highway' will be in the US West Coast
before September...or October at the latest! PAG & PCNA saved a
'boatload' of money getting your car on that vehicle transport ship!
That is the only silver lining I see in this sad transportation tale! And
it will be the slowest ride this gt3 will ever experience in it's lifetime!

Hey! It should be me cruising in the Caribbean and Cuba, not the car!

Adding salt to the wound...ouch.
However, there's one positive thing about the boat, my car is actually destined for Houston, not the west coast, so that should save a few months! (I hope)

Did you say 'Houston'?

Great, then they will be ready when they get that dreadful call...
