Thank You for those outside shots . I'm configured in Lava as it stands , but have had cold feet seeing some of the shots where it looked too pale . I'm relieved because I'm sure I could love it or GT Silver with the right accents . Better still would be PTS , but I think it won't be offered - or at least in the time frame that I'll need to decide .
Eduardo how close in color do you think lava orange is to blutorange?
David: I think it's damn close. From my observations and even some reports received (see SuperDarius post), Porsche Exclusive color designers utilized as a starting base a historic/vintage early 911 color ('Blutorange' & 'Royal Purple/Lilac') and then went up or down two shades to get a unique formulation! Porsche also did the same thing recently with the 60th Anniversary PCA 'Club Blau'. Took the vintage 'Acid/Bahama Blue' and changed it by two shades!
My dealer still thinks my PTS order is looking good, until I hear otherwise it's PTS, but would be happy with UV or LO as well.
Dealer told me this morning that a limited number of PTS cars would be available starting in early 2016 but he does not know which PTS colors will be approved...speculated that it maybe 12 or so colors. PTS availability seems to line-up with what others are hearing as well.
