Puf good to hear from you. <3 campovolo grey!
And I agree it would be amazing to line up all the greys and see them together. Exactly how they compare is something I'd love to see!

And yes, the lighting on those photos are showing the 'Nardo'
as lighter than you would expect. I have posted before photos
of a 'Fashion Grey' gt3 next to a 'Nardo Gray' Audi RS7 (not mine)
which tells a tale!
In my experience, Audi's 'Nardo Gray' is quite a bit darker (when
both are seen together) than 'Fashion Grey'. And I would expect
that Porsche's version of Audi's 'Nardo' would be the same! So
indeed Bludog, we would like to see more photos of your 'Nardo'
in a different light to confirm if that assumption is correct!

As for the 'wailing wall', (as aptly named by Eduardo), I believe that there are only 2 in the entire universe - one in Germany, the other in USA. Please Porsche, spread the love a little wider and provide a few more sample sets.

Meanwhile, a US Porsche dealer has posted in
Rennlist photos of their recently arrived PTS
'Nardo Grey' .2 991 S which they have for sale.
And here is one of their photos:
https://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-...ardo-grey.html
And that looks more like the color of mine
'Nardo Gray' 2016 RS7!

Where? At PCNA headquarters in Atlanta, GA? We know
they have one in Zuffenhausen, which was not there when
I last visited in July of 2015, but which was put up shortly
after that! Here is what that looks like:
*
What I do know is that PAG has sent to their 'Porsche
Exclusive' offices (Atlanta & Los Angeles), and perhaps
their 'Exclusive Flagship Dealers' all throughout the US,
http://www.porsche.com/usa/accessori...stomerservice/,
a set of shapely vehicle props in the various PTS approved
colors. Here is what these figurines look like:
*
Before this development, PAG had a limited selection
of PTS color samples on display at some locations like
Zuffenhausen. Here is a photo of such a room display
that I took on my July 2015 visit:

So, regarding PTS, Porsche is taking a few steps forward (above)
and some backwards (below), like the senseless restrictions on
us posting here on Rennlist the approved PTS color list (warning
in place since 7/2015)!

Would love to order PTS Grigio Telesto, Nardo, or Fashion Grey. I hope I can order a .2 GT3....

They only had three greys though (attached) — Fashion Grey, Grey Black, and I believe Atlas Grey Metalic (may have been Meteor). I hope they get more… I really want to see the two Slate Greys and Sport Classic.

While I wish Porsche would provide PTS colour samples like we are talking about here, I get the sense they're not actively trying to promote this option. I mean, they won't even release the, now Confidential, accepted list! The PTS window sells out immediately, so evidently there's no need for them to make it easier for customers to figure it out, especially the difficult job of trying to keep up with the moving target of currently accepted PTS colours.

Manhattan Motorcars has a few those
for the more popular PTS colors. They
were laying in a random drawer and
the SA told me he remembered they
had them after I mentioned seeing
them online during a previous visit.
Apparently they nearly threw them
away when they arrived, thinking
they were for another manufacturer!

runs its PTS & 'Exclusive' program in the
US!
Manhattan is one of their elite 'Exclusive
Flagship' dealers based in NYC, one of
the top markets for Porsche.
And this prestigious dealer nearly threw these
PTS figurines away because they had no clue
as to what they were when they arrived?
What horrible communications & coordination
between PCNA & an 'Exclusive Flagship' dealer
in a top market for the roll-out of these PTS
samples aimed at informing, educating &
assisting customers choose PTS colors!

color was rejected as PTS for the 991/718, but
allowed for the Panamera only.

'Meteor Grey Metallic' is PTS approved for the just about
everything but the Cayenne. But it normally looks much
lighter than the color in your figurine!

approved colors (615 & Y97) with no problem.
But I don't know about 'Sport Classic'. Even
after it was approved on a 918 Spyder & several
981 Spyders & 991s, we still don't see it on the
official PTS approved list. That means that a
figurine in that color is probably not available.
And I think PAG is perhaps having second thoughts
about letting folks continue to order this once exclusive
'Limited Edition' color as PTS. But that is only a guess
on my part & not yet confirmed.

My mistake - so much in this and the 'Custom Ordering' threads!
I was in my local OPC today. It is billed as a 'Porsche Exclusive Flagship Dealer' and is owned by Porsche Cars Great Britain.
Reasonable to think that if any dealer in UK has PTS samples, it will be this dealer.
I asked about the figurines.
They said yes, they had them and showed me these. Orange and U Violet. Not really PTS.
Me: Have you got any more?
SA: No.
Me: Will you be getting more?
SA: No.
@Nimprojects - good work on getting the 3 greys side by side.

Yes the reports of Sport Classic as PTS seemed a little too good to be true. Based on pictures it might be the perfect light grey for me. : (
To be fair, SA was very helpful with PTS considering how little info the dealers seem to have. Looking forward to taking him on a deviated stitching adventure on the next build with all the stuff I've learned here.
A sick part of me enjoys the arcane nature of the PTS ordering processs, but I've only done it once. I'm sure I'd feel very differently if I got denied.

Porsche Bellevue has lots of those in the drawers over in their Exclusive area. I was able to compare Viper and Signal green for the first time.
