'Lava Orange' apparently not exclusive to the RS...even on it's first year!

Default 'Lava Orange' apparently not exclusive to the RS...even on it's first year!


Just as we were starting to feel good about the exclusivity of 'Lava Orange' for the just released 991 gt3 RS, there comes this news that 'Lava Orange' will be available on any MY2016 .2 991 model as PTS:

Maybe best to order in white and then pay to wrap in any color or design you like.. that would be cheaper vs. PTS... i still can't believe there are no decals or iconic colors exclusive to the RS.. bummer really.

Lava is not exclusive because this RS is not limited prod
you can buy as many you can afford

if lava orange is available on other models then i would hesitate getting it... UV is looking better and better...

White is available on other cars, silver (some flavor) is available as well

Salmon (Lava) will be available which leaves purple...wow. Not great if any choices there.

I'm sure they'll do the same with UV, IMO just order what you like best.

How many people would take LO over the free GR? I wouldn't.

It's not like you'll ever drive past another Lava Orange car. Except at cars and coffee, what a nightmare that would be. Washing machine white is easier than choosing.

Don't expect a lot of non-RS buyers to be spec'ing PTS Lava Orange. Wouldn't impact my color choice one way or the other.
