I've been out getting quotes to fully wrap my GT3 with Xpel and the costs are far greater than they were in 2009 when I wrapped my RS for a couple grand. Installers around San Diego are quoting $7500 to $9800. I think that is insane but maybe things have changed since 2009. What is the going rate?
Thanks

I'm getting the full front (bumper, front fenders, hood, mirrors and door sills for $1595.
I think the quote for full car was $5k.
Installer is a "recommended installer" on the Xpel website. Not in California$ though

I assume most are opting for Xpel. I'm probably going to wrap the whole car, as film on white is prone to yellow.
Anyone: How long do installers generally take to install a half wrap vs. the entire car?

I've seen him completely wrap a Bently. He also tints windows. I love his work and highly recommend him.

It's such a personal choice.
I had a 2014 R8 with a fully wrapped front (done by a premier guy) and I never really loved it.
I'm going naked on the GT3 - I can get the front end painted if I need to.
There is nothing like the feel of freshly detailed paint and you simply don't get that with clear bra (at least with XPEL Ulitmate).
I'm done saving the paint for the next guy.

I had my front wrapped for stone protection.
I had a spin and scratched the front. Nothing serious but it needed to be repainted.
Of the total repair cost the new wrap represented 60%. So I didn't replace the wrap.
Later I spun again and scratched the front on the exact same spot(!), this time with no wrap.
Lesson learned: Saved money not having wrap :-)

I think all original paint is with something for resale.
My racecars are not wrapped. Who cares.
Some tracks are much harder on paint than others, Sebring is pretty bad and I can't see my car all shot blasted.
A really good wrap for an entire car should be 4-5k.
Just the sides and front much less..
If you keep hitting walls I guess it does not matter![ooops](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/icon501.gif)
