I like how it looks a lot. I do agree that it would be better served on a GTS than GT3, like many have said, the wing is iconic to the GT3. That being said, if it's just a street car, the lack of wing wont be that big of a deal as downforce isn't as important for street driving and he's addressed the ram air issue. Also, I didn't by any means think he meant anyone elses cars were lesser than his. I think what he was saying was that this was HIS first car that he felt was worthy of posting here. Infact everyone elses cars is what has kept him lurking and enjoying the site. Hopefully he hasn't been chased away and will become a regular contributor. Luckily for all of us, we all have different tastes or we'd all be driving the same cars that look exactly the same. At which point, we might as well all be driving champagne colored camry's :P lol

I'm not a fan of the ducktail on his car, but I might have a change of mind if I saw it live. I'm sure he spent some time thinking about his decision to do this and I give him credit for this. To each their own. At least he can say, it's certainly unique.

I think it looks just fine. It's simple and clean. Honestly, I think the current wing is a bit over the top and probably the OP thought the same. If this was a free option on the configurator I would have considered it. Not sure if I would have clicked the box but definetly would have thought about it.

It does look fine and while if there had been an option for the ducktail on the configurator I wouldn't have chosen it, at least I'd have known that the car was engineered to work properly with it. We can make assumptions that changing the aero or airflow to the engine doesn't matter but personally I'm leery of home grown solutions done for looks to a design that was engineered by people a lot smarter about that kind of thing than I am.

But that's my problem, not the OP's. He has a beautiful car and I hope he enjoys it.

Why would he buy the GTS??? There is no comparison between the two cars, the guy just doesn't want the ostentatious tail on the back which 99% of us are actually not putting to any good use! I could argue that a bunch of you have not only picked ugly colors but also made ridiculous mods yourselves. To each his own!

The ducktail doesn't look too bad, although i prefer the standard wing, but this thing without a wing or ducktail just looks uncomfortable

haha, just joined RL in October and waiting for my 16 GT3 to land in the US so thought I would quench my thirst by going through all 150 pages on the GT3 and Rs forum haha
