Default Custom interior

Picked up the car two weeks ago. Loving it so far but wanted a more interesting interior. So I decided to replace all of the black Alcantara with red Alcantara and black diamond stitching. Also replacing all of the white stitching with red stitching. I love the understated color of Rhodium on the outside with a bold contrast of color on the inside. Car should be done tomorrow. I'll post up the rest of the pics when she is done. Not a look for everybody but I'm excited about it. Thought you guys might want to see some progress pics.

This is awesome! I might have to steal your idea. What is the name of the shop who did this? Nice taste in cars btw! Our garage is almost identical.

Now that's some exciting stuff! Good for you.

Nice to see some custom work other than clear side markers and front license plate brackets!

Looking forward to the finished pics.

Thanks! Coach Trim in Danbury, CT. They do incredible work. Did amazing stuff on my previous 911. I can't recommend them enough.

I must say this has to be in the top 3 most exciting posts on the GT3 forum I've seen.

Barely edges out "what freebies did you get with your purchase"! Now that one is some great reading.

Gives the Fagin bromance romance novels some competition too.

Nice job once again!

Would be cool to order a car w/o leather.. Then have these guys make up a beautiful tan interior ..

Is price comparable to Porsche leather?

Yea I thought about that. I missed out on ordering my GT3 so I picked up the last car my dealer had on the lot. Luckily it was close to what I wanted and I wasn't paying for interior work from Porsche that I knew I would rip out anyway. I don't know what Porsche charges for interior but these guys are certainly not cheap. Their craftsmanship is impeccable so for me it's worth the price. But the thing to note is that costs can get crazy depending on material. Leathers are not all the same and can vary greatly in price. Alcantara is relatively cheap by comparison and you can purchase it by the yard rather than having to get an entire hide.

The Rising Sun!

Good luck, MethLab! The last 'Bordello Red' interior was done by Porsche in the .2 997 gt3 RS 4.0 LE! Don't forget to change the alcantara on the roof liner to match the seat inlays!
