Just closing the loop. I bought a 2015 991 GT3 from Porsche Houston North. They had someone back out a the very last minute and I took delivery Friday night. Sweet car. I look forward to the break in period being over. Is it me or is the exhaust a bit underwhelming? Maybe there is another thread on that one.

It's you.

And me.

My biggest disappointment with the car.

Can you please expand on this ? Are you concerned about sound under 5 k or overall until 9 k ? I was a bit disappointed by my 997.2 gt3 sound quality , i upgraded to sharkwerks it made a good difference. Just wondering what you guys are talking about. My car arrives in feb.

The sharkwerks center bypass exhaust is the solution for you IMO. European sound regulations mandate a quieter exhaust. Recent group buy on the exhaust for 991 gt3. Check out "search".

Exhaust notes, as I've mentioned here before, are matters of personal preference.

I find the stock OEM exhaust sound and tone a bit docile and not throaty enough.

Even with a bypass - either by SW or another tuner like GMG, MM, etc - you only get a louder exhaust but necessarily one with more character. And which bypass you use doesn't really matter all that much as the design of the bypass is essentially identical.

But, again, that's just me. YMMV.
