Houston we have a problem

The console is a CAN bus device, so wiring harness will be fine. Think of it as a keyboard to the ecu. And it just sends a network packet when a button is pushed.

Wow. Yours came in on the Green Dale, right? Maybe there was something to that satellite reading showing it was sucked into a vortex and wound up somewhere in the Australian outback!!! Haven't gotten mine yet from that ship. Maybe the Porsche techs are scouring the galley for lost sport PDK buttons!!

This is outrageous. Sorry to see this happen to you.
I would contact PCNA immediately and file a complaint and ask them for a clarification of why this mistake happened in the first place, and how come their PDI instructions to their Posche dealers miss such a mistake.
i have noticed from reading some of the recent posts in this forum and other forums as well that some Porsche dealers are not doing a good job on GT3 PDI's. Few days ago we have seen a post from one of the members on the Rennlist asking about these blue inserts (shipping spacers) left on his car springs, and i heard from a friend of mine about another GT3 owner complaining about his GT3 being delivered without a wing, and many other similar stories.
My question to PCNA isn't the PDI designed to catch these silly mistakes and should they not reprimand the offending dealers for not catching simple mistakes during PDI. Perhaps PCNA is not aware of these issues and just to give them the benefit of the doubt, I feel that new GT3 owners who encounter similar problems, should file a complaint with PCNA and report these mistakes. Hopefully PCNA can do a better job educating these dealers or get rid of the bad ones. Mark
