Jack is the greatest. Super knowledgeable and passionate about P-cars. And, fun to talk to. Has been tinkering on these cars for 30+ years.

Thanks rubbaman for the update.
Thanks Mike in CA for the informative pic.
Thanks sgroer for the info from your mechanic about the too little and too much lubrication Porsche philosophy.

So this WOOO sound could easily be added as one of those "normal" GT3 sounds. i for one dont like dismantling stuff, especially on a brand new car. What I might do and see if it helps is spray a sniff of WD40 on the parts Mike showed earlier and see how it goes. Atleast now we know the cause and the fix.

Instead of WD40, may I recommend LPS2 manufactured by LPS Laboratories? This lubricant is used on general aviation airplanes and thus I think would be appropriate for cars.

I have it intermittently.

I'll mention it at the 1,200 mile oil change, but it seems that everyone's thinking it might be semi normal now...

Well guys the LPS2 (which is a higher quality WD40........thanks A36pilot) did the trick. I didnt like the idea of disassembling the front suspension to grease up the areas needed to get rid of the WOOO sound. So I sprayed both areas (upper and lower contact points) with LPS2 and turned the wheel a few times max right to max left to allow the lubricant to sneak in. Left it to soak in for a few hrs then drove the car, no more WOOO sound.
You dont even need to take the wheel off nor you need a lift, just turned the wheel all the way out to see the areas needing attention, then turn the opposite way to access the passenger side.

I think this is the quickest fix for this issue.

Good outcome.

It's bad practice to full lock steering on any car.

I usually dont, but did it a few times in this situation to allow the lubricant to reach as much as possible creases it could without disassembling the front suspension.
