Money2536's Sapphire Blue 991 GT3 Journal
#406
I've been slacking on the GT3 Journal getting the garage dialed in. I've got some videos that I need to make for the GT3: Center Lock Removal, Opti-Coat the wheels, debadging (undecided on this one), interior leather/alcantara detail, and who knows what else I'll come up with.
I'm on the home stretch with the garage. Check the GJ if you care for more details. (God knows I'm not short on details...:sigh

I'm so in love with how it's turned out. I've been dreaming of this since I can remember. I got my speakers today. These little DynAudio x12s are amazing. I love how the TV/Speakers/Sub are all matching Piano Black.
I think this photo sums me up: sterile, organized, calculating, tinkerer, car lover, detail freak, electronics enthusiast.
I still want to add more lights, insulate the garage door, possibly do 5.1/7.1 surround, and I think I've decided to get a massive print on aluminum of the GT3 to cover the electrical panel boxes. I'm undecided on that.

Beautiful garage!
Though everytime I see pictures of your garage I think you might go into fits of seizures and spasms if you came to my shop. Though I do have a separate garage that's pretty clean and floored with race deck, my shop is where most the work gets done.

Money that's impressive, getting to know you a while ago here on RL, nothing will surprise me anymore. Showed my wife some of those pics, she said...."Oh my god". She gives you her approval. Once again, well done.

Awesome looking garage. Can't believe you have a JL sub in there
Speakers tend to sound significantly better when placed at the front edge of a table/counter due to early first reflections against both the counter and the cabinet. However, not sure if matters in a relatively "live" environment like a garage. Been a long time since I thought about the audio hobby!

Hey Matt. For the lights you want, check out Big *** Fans. They just came out with a sweet lighting system like $399. Pretty sweet.

Debadging
Some of you are going to hate this. I hastily took the badge off my C2S. With this car, I'm taking my time. I know debadging a car is very subjective, but I tend to prefer it.
People on YouTube have been egging me on, so I got out the camera again. I'm sure all of you guys know how to debadge a car, but a bunch of young guys that follow this crap I'm throwing out there don't.
Here are 25 minutes of pure entertainment for you.
