Looks sick. Now throw in some red gauges!

Thought about black wheels too, but I love the regular wheels and I think they provide a good distinction between body and wheels unlike the black. I feel like a girl dressing up my doll. Ouch.

I have red gauges on my RS. Don't want them again. I did get a red sport chrono gauge though...it doesn't show up on the configurator.

How do you get to this detailed configurator? The one at porscheusa.com is much lamer.
Car looks awesome!

I guess you like washing your cars, black is a pain in my book. Might as well get the black wheels. They will look dirty just like the car after five miles, but it will look awesome when clean.

Enjoy!

It's on the Porsche USA site. You need to click on 3D and then the button on the top right to blow it up to full screen.

I'll buy Forgeline gloss black wheels eventually.

I've had metallic black before and it is way more forgiving than the regular black. I don't mind washing my cars, but I also don't mind driving around dirty. It's just a car.

I'm getting black also. My Cayman S is black and never had issues keeping it clean. They are small cars and not a problem washing by hand. I just like the look of a 911 in black. I have been driving a white 911 and the car always looks dirty.

I ordered black as well. I went back and forth over the black wheels. Wheels are easy to fix. I had your interior in my '11RS. I decided to go with stock this time.

Maybe a nice new interior...
I would be really sure you are going to get an RS before passing on the GT3. I have bought a bunch of new Porsche's and my odds are near zero.

I just sold my Forgelines GA1R CL's in gloss black. Incredibly fussy wheels IMHO. I recommended to the new buyer to take my offer to refinish them at Forgeline in any color but gloss black- which he did!

Interesting about metallic black- I did not know that! Unfortunately our driving season is short in the PACNW and living in the hills with road conditions less than ideal, I need a 'strategic' color choice that still looks good when I roll off the hill and get to where I'm going. Yellow and silver are probably best for looking clean- red maybe second. For this reason I think I'm leaning away from DBM even though it would look cool.

Awesome! Didn't know about this feature. Was really cool to see my coming GT3 in this detail. Thanks for the info!

I don't see a 3D to click (Chrome browser on Win 7).
