Mad fun! ....RS just wants to grip.

I was at Sebring last weekend, but didn't see you there. The best I was able to do was 2:24; what tires and pressures are you running on your car? Thanks.

Last weekend was my first time out in this car, coming out of a 2015 GT3. It's an impressive car, but your times are equally impressive given you're running on the Cup2s. Thanks -- I was surprised with your tires, I now have a target to shoot for next year but outside my skill level.

Thanks, AFAIK the MPSC2, Dunlops and Pirelli are the only choices we have and all offer similar grip. I tried the Dunlops and got the same results.
If you haven't done pro coaching I recommend it, it has help d me a lot.
Every time I get a different car I hired one for a day. 997 GT3, 997.2RS, 4.0 and now 991RS.

I definitely agree with using pro coaches, especially with my limited, 3 year, track experience. I used Peter Argetsinger last Sunday, who I have known for a while -- I didn't get much of his time due to the Ferrari races this past weekend, but what I did get was well worthwhile. I've been on Sebring now for 8 days total over the last 3 years, so I feel like I know the track but the car was all new. I came out of a 2015 GT3 and found this car to be more different than I expected, more capable with greater grip and better high speed trail braking, but I'll need more time to explore its and mine own capabilities. Peter helped.
I asked about the tires because a GT3 friend was running 19 inch Hoosiers on his 2015 GT3, and he was always a few seconds faster than me on any given day. I am not aware that there are any Hoosiers or similar tires available yet for the RS. I'll use your video to see where I can improve my own times at Sebring, especially knowing that you are running the same tires.
You may have seen my friend's car -- white GT3 that caught on fire sometime in January at Sebring. He threw a connecting rod just like the early cars.

Took out the lap record for 991 GT3/RS road registered class at the state Porsche club last weekend! Still on the original MPSC2 after 8 days...still going strong!
