Push in and slide hard toward wheel, fyi-they don't slide very far. Just a bit passed flush. Then nudge font sharp corner out and it will pop out and unplug. Easy install. I had a super short connector and that was the hardest part but by no mean difficult. Install-- everything in reverse. Looks great, much better than stock orange but the lights are still orange which on.

 

If removing the headlights is similar to past generations, it is done in literally seconds. I just recently replaced the turn signal bulbs in my 996tt, which requires headlight removal. Both lights in an out, replaced bulbs took less than 10 minutes.
