Default how long will the fix take?

Hi guys,

So many threads and so many pages to read, thought id post a new thread to answer this specific question. Now that the solution has been proposed how long in total would it take from say today until owners can drive their cars once again?

Second question which applies to me is, since my car is still in production (status 260 or something like that) how long am I expected to wait until my car is delivered. My delivery date before all of this crap was mid april. If this is going to take two more months or so I would cancel the order and go for a Mercedes S63 coupe 4-matic instead, ive had enough of this especially since the dealership has been very bad I heard absolutely nothing from them on the whole matter despite asking several times to keep me in the loop, I have to google the answers I need and that's not acceptable.

I think you need to pursue your answers with Porsche...

I would send a letter to the GM at your dealer, tell him the questions you want answers to or the number of the PCNA regional manager.

My car was supposed to be completed 3/14. When discussing the problem with the dealer, they agreed that a reasonable delay estimate was 2 months.

Reasonable for Porsche, unreasonable for me. One of the main reasons I got the car is because I wanted to enjoy it before the weather goes all nuts here in Dubai, which wont happen with the current circumstances.

Exactly one of the major reasons I cancelled my order.

If you don't have a car in your possession, I would get something else. You'll be tired of waiting...
