So with all due respect to you both, why are guys who don't have cars yet getting courtesy calls before someone (like me) who DOES have an out-of-service car that he paid for? If this keeps up, I might start getting pissed!

Maybe because your're paid up. These other guys could walk, and tell Porsche **** you, keep you car, and spend the money at another brand. Gawd, this sucks. I hope this gets resolved soon. Crazy.

Because you got a letter and we potential buyers live in a cocoon according to Porsche world.

Also, they want to keep us happy so that we take delivery of the damaged car.

Wow, so the information is; There is no information.
"Don't call us, we'll call you" Impressive after a couple of weeks.

Did anything official reach you guys to apologize and specify that you are entitled to a nice loaner etc. or is just handled on a case to case on the fly like from the dealers?

I'm thinking case by case. I have a "case" opened, and supposedly on the call list. I called today at 3 CST and checked on updates. Same info was relayed that there are no updates. I told her it's kind of frustrating to have a car built, and sitting down the road at a port that I can't touch. She said they are waiting on word and it's just as frustrating to them. No mention of loaner, a free mug, or a signed apology from Porsche Germany..... zero

My car arrived at the Port of Houston on February 11th and is still there. I have not received any calls or letters from PCNA. I guess they figure that based on my past number of Porsche purchases that I am sufficiently addicted such that I won't be walking away from this one.

I should add to my post above that I haven't called PCNA yet either and haven't heard from them.
