Lemon law is 30 days out of commission. I'm now at 10 days. This better resolve well or Porsche may get some cars back.

If Porsche were to refund money I doubt they would do it under LL. The title would then be branded that way...

Actually might be good to get a 911 for a month.. I need practice driving Real Wheel.. This is my first Porsche, other then a rental, and riding in the back of my dads 76 targa.. -- One of the car sale guys goes.. "Uhhhh, do you think the GT3 might be too much for G".. Got to luv it.. Hopfully my bike racing skills will transfer.. (x20) -- I just want to drive any Porsche soon. Mine, or whatever.. going crazy after waiting 20 years..

Ok. what is the number of PCNA, or PM me..

It seems like everyone is getting loaners except me.. Now you guys got me all excited about getting a 911. (I was feeling guilty asking for a loaner, but now remembering I did pay 150k for a car..and if others are getting them. Hmmm)

I bought car in CA, but i'm in Chicago now.. There are 3 dealers in the area What should I do? Call the service dept's and say.. Hey, I have a GT3 I bought in Cali, do you want to me my Service guys? -- and see who gives me the best Loaner [kidding].. LOL.. I think they would like the business as Porsche pays them for warranty work right?

I declined a loaner based on the assumption that a) my car might not be affected by any eventual fix and b) this thing wouldn't last more than a week or two and I didn't need a loaner short term.

I'm still going to wait for the announcement and more info before pursuing anything. But if it's revealed that this is going to drag on for a while, it might be nice to drive a Carrera until my GT3 is released.

I think it is safe to assume that if the fix involves cracking the affected engines open, its going to take a while unless its a manufacturing issue, and the number of actual engines affected is small ...

PAG will inform the dealers and owners directly of the recall program *before* they make a press release IMO. Its only good customer service.

All you Cali guys should sign up for a DE with all the loaners and we can do Musical Chairs with loaner cars. I'd fly in for that.

I'd hope so. Even if not, calls to dealer and PCNA yielded no new info today...

Right. But still, no word today and everyone has gone home.

Who started the 'announcement' rumor anyway? I'm getting the tar and feathers ready.
