Thought so... Have to say it...I hate center locks they are a royal pain requiring more tools and plain silly/expensive additional maintenance procedures, greasing your nuts etc etc. 5 lugs so much easier. Is what it is and I've got used to the CL routine over the years but still think its backwards.

^agree! if the car turns out to be a long-term track keeper, and a 19" wheel option becomes available, I will seriously look at the 5 lug conversion.

True. That's how I did it on my 997.2 initially. If the torquing procedure on the 991 is the same as 997.2, you're suppose to torque it, then loosen it by 60 deg, then re-torque. When I did it without the floor jack pipe as additional leverage, it was just exhausting!
