I think it's been determined that the sport chrono is a waste of money and the track app is junk. I will use that $1900 on another more meaningful option myself.

It is my understanding that the Sport Chrono option on the GT3/4 models add's the wart on the dash that keeps time, and the questionable track app....that's it. I believe all the other Porsche models require the sport chrono option to activate sport mode and other must have features. The sport mode comes with GT3/4 models without requiring the sport chrono package.
