Hi!

More pictures from geneva.. You've probably seen tons already, but more won't hurt!

What we noticed was that this faded orange, that shows in many pictures like in the pictures below, is caused by the camera. If u actually look at the car from the same angle, you don't see any of this..

As WazRS mentioned before, the color is like in this picture:

And it gets as light as this depending on the angle:

Default PAG

I find it pretty stupid that PAG has yet to show us properly what the other colors look like (pix/film). I mean our best look thus far are the models and the images in the configurator? I mean WTF ... its only four colors??
Anyone agree?

Thanks for the detailed pictures Karim. Could you ask them if they have any production numbers in mind and what is going on with PTS?

Thanks for helping to clarify the color - I actually probably prefer the faded orange as the real pictures seem very close to Guards Red? It's that your conclusion after seeing it in person?

Thanks for taking the time to show us how that colour really appears.

Honestly I feel its derived more from guards red than orange.. It has a touch of ''brick'' in it.. Its light red that has tendency to turn into dark orange.. I hope i'm clear enough but I do admit that the color is very intriguing..
When you see it live it will grow on you, it's very special..

I'm going back again tomorrow.. Although is stared at it for hours, I'll have a better look at it again..

Anyone agree?
Go to the Porsche website and download the hi Rez desktop pictures. View them in a color managed browser like Apple Safari or a color managed Mozilla build browser. Colors viewed through any Microsoft Internet explorer browser will not be correct as their browser is not color managed. Gates and his disciples are idiots. The color of this photo looks great in Safari.

It IS a very intriguing color.

I think I stod and watch the car from a distance for maybe an hour.

I just don't get a grip of it.

I agree that it is a bit of "brick" in it. The color sometimes has a touch of brown in it. Not BROWN, just a little brownish in the red/orange. Probably the "brick"-component of the color. My subjective opinion of course.

Absolutely, especially since we have seen pictures of cars in various colors...

How difficult can it be to take a proper picture of one of a car?

Having to buy toys to get a grip of a color is just idiotic.

Wow, what a car! I'd go with white, but that Orange is very nice! I wonder if the blackened tail lights are interchangeable with the GT3?
