Wasn't me driving. Pumpkin RS is a member on here a has well documented build thread of his car that is now making close to 515 to the wheels.
I will hopefully be driving one soon and will post a video from inside the car

While watching this video two things came to mind:
1)Nice to have the latest greatest car on the track
2)Why some people spend all the dough on the old RS?

Wow. The second half of the clip it really starts to get fast. When the orange RS enters the it seems like the 991 GT3 driver has slowed down to let him pass on that straight as he passes with quite a bit of speed but the struggles to replicate the same straight line momentum over the 991 GT3 for the rest of the clip. The white RS early in the clip obviously flags the 991 GT3 by. By the second haf of the clip it would appear tyres are startimng to become and issue especially for the orange car but even with tyres that surely must be starting to go off in teh later stages of the clip the 991 Gt3 still seems to be stable under brakes and fine through the corners. Infact its clearly the corners where the new GT3 seems to make up most of its time although its no slouch on teh straights either. Excellent driving especially given the length of the track and session and fact the MPSC2 may be a great tyre but they are no R6 or Z221 when it comes to laps. Once set up with a few tweaks such as more negative camber geo, better suited tyres and maybe an exhaust/ecu tweak in the future Id imagine it will be only having hassles from well driven late model 997 Cup cars on the track. The driving is excellent but the 991 GT3 allows you to focus on breaking and lines so you will always be smoother than in a manual...cant wait to get it on the track!
