Full Leather

Still, anyone might be able to negotiate a special 'Customization Package' with 'Porsche Exclusive' for items that are not normally available for the particular model you are custom ordering. For example, a leather lid with French stitching was NOT available on the '11/'12 Boxster Spyder! But I was able to get 'Porsche Exclusive' to do it for me (photo #2). I had the only Spyder ever produced with this particular option. Same for the leather entry sills. The latter were available on the 997 and later on the Cayman R...but it was never offered on the Spyder! Even today, 'Porsche Exclusive' has not yet offered leather covered sills on the 991 or 981. I keep asking Sascha everytime I see him and ....not yet. The leather sills are kind of neat - especially if they stand out against a deviated color carpeting! But you have to be careful not to scuff them as you get in & out of your car.

Thanks for the advice.. You're probably right... Options just aren't worth it in resale right? it's not that I don't think I'll love this car enough to keep it, just that I can't figure out where I'd use something this fast even on a weekend basis.. And if were to really start doing track days like I did on bikes.. Then better to get a stripper and not a heavy expensive road car. I hope my lock date comes soon so I can make a decision and stop boring myself and others with total decision paralysis.

Not sure about looking better .........had it in my 991S which was a disappointment purchased off the shelf. Ordered full leather in the GT3 and it looks really good, and easy to clean. Full leather in my M5 still looks new after three years no issues with cleaning. I agree it's a personal choice just looks cheap in a car that cost 150k
