Lock date is T-29 days.

Also, FYI, they have a used GT silver 2013 991 in stock at Hennessy. Helped me with my decision making.
Always loved GT silver. Hennessy has someone's white GT3 there. Light tint, clear bra, nicely optioned. Gorgeous!!! Congrats to that lucky owner.

As with the pic above painted washer nipples may be frivolous, but they sure look great on any color. The less chrome/shiny bits, the better.

Yes - GT Silver, Black PDLS, Gray Wheels, Red stitching, red seat belts.

i'm 90% sure i'm doing GT Silver. i just need to make friends w/ someone in atlanta who will let me come admire their white GT3 occasionally.
I have a Glacier White Audi S4 right now. It's a good color, but there was no way I was going to do white again. Never felt any emotion with it. I agree the GT3 looks amazing in white, and technically a GT3 "should" be white, but GT silver is an awesome color and I have largely ignored other's input into this process. I stopped by Hennessy to see the white GT3 last week. It almost made me think more seriously about white, but I stayed strong and held the course. It looked incredible in person. I was always of the opinion that "Silver is silver" - I was wrong. Rhodium and GT are very different from each other in person and i think the relative scarcity of GT Silver cars makes it exclusive enough to fit the GT3.

OK you ordered the two items I have been trying to get more info. Light Design Package and Voice Control. Do you have any experience with these two?

Yeah. The voice control feature allows you to speak contact names and nav destinations. Allegedly does not work that well. Honestly, if it helps me dial people without touching the phone, even if it only works a fair amount of time, its worth it.

Light design package adds a luxurious ambient light around the foot wells and pockets. Ambient light is great at night. Enough to see around the cabin for various reasons. This one was a no brainer, the voice control was a much tougher decision. I may end up thinking the voice control was a waste. Unlikely with light design package.

sgroer: i just went to Hennessy Porsche and checked out the White GT3 w/ iron rotors (non-PCCB) and must say it was gorgeous in the flesh. Macca was right when he said that pics just don't do it justice. the car sits soooooo low to the ground and the sheet metal and detail are just amazing to behold.

i also saw the used 2013 GT Silver 991S for sale outside. beautiful paint job for sure. now i'm really torn for sure. best looking white car i've ever seen, but that silver is just gob-smacking awesome.

I've also heard voice control doesn't work very well. In a gt3 more so. GT silver is very nice. I have always liked it. For me white in a GT3 in the best. The gt3 at Hennessy sealed it for me.

Sounds like all you accomplished was MORE confusion. Ugh! The gt silver 991 they have there is a stunning car. I actually thought about buying it before I got my gt3 allocation.

sgroer: No idea how anyone could wait that long. I would escort the thing off the container ship and watch it all the way to the dealer I think. I hope that guy is out of town and can't get back b/c that's just absurd otherwise. He's picking it up Monday. He had a REALLY good full front clear bra on it. Asking the dealer who they used. Very solid install.

Also, after seeing the car in the flesh, I'm leaning more toward the steel/iron rotors and the red calipers. It's more than enough brake for that car and fills out the wheels nicely. I'll track the car occasionally and don't want to grit my teeth knowing I'm biting the pads into ceramics. It'd make me feel guilty just applying the brakes.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CAR. Pics really don't do it justice.

thinking the same thing. I'd be driving that all weekend.

pretty loaded up car. more than I would spec, but very nice nonetheless.

frt clip was clear bra'd in house, mild tint. you'd have to look hard to notice.

two players in town for clear bra from what I have learned. one of whom installs at hennessy on site daily.

will you have yours covered?

Yes. Atlanta protective films did my Audis and I've been extremely pleased. They will do the gt3. Speed film is the company that installs at Hennessy and they are also very good.

I was there when they installed the film. They were clearly pros.

Default Only one logical choice...

You can't choose black because the splitters and vents wouldn't be visually separate from the body of the car, ruining the simple lines and making it look like a standard car with a body kit.

You can't choose silver because it's not different enough to the wheels. And you can't order black wheels because they're too glossy.

That means you've got to go red, blue or white. Since most look good, there's little point in paying extra for it.

And red does not seem like a GT3 colour.

So the logical conclusion is... WHITE! Which just so happens to be a classic GT3 colour.

Saw one in the flesh today on Camberwell New Road (in white) and it was sensational
