I'm stuck between Guards and the GT silver. I was supposed to see one of the first Guards Red GT3s this weekend, but it fell through.
Now I don't know what to do.......

I'm in exactly the same boat. I only have 8 days to finalize my order and I've never seen these colors in the flesh on a GT3.

Red is too flashy, but looks incredible.
I ruled out Agate yesterday. went to the dealership at sunset and it honestly looked khaki.
rhodium is too plain, no depth. Boring
Black is too much of a hassle.
Basalt is awesome, lots of pop and better on swirls than black (but still a hassle)
GT Silver is incredible, easy to maintain and a classic Porsche color. If it weren't for the cost, this would be a slam dunk for me.
I am now debating Basalt vs. GT silver. everything else has been ruled out.

I am also a member of the color frustration club. Here are my thoughts:

Among the silvers rhodium is badass.
Basalt is great IMO, but you get hassles of black with the black accents dumbed down (good or bad depending on who you are).
For those undecided, not that my vote matters, Red, Yellow, PTS gulf blue, mexico blue, or maybe voodoo. I think this car can pull off any of these skittle colors like very few cars can.
--------
To the OP, more driving impressions!

Have a white car now so was never considered.
Sapphire blue, in person is too light for me. Seems somewhat weak, hard to describe unless you see it in person. (Some people love it).... Aqua blue was much better for me but not willing to pay the PTS and the wait.
Dark Blue Metallic- Doesn't excite me. Never seen it in person though. I worry how it would work with the dark gray wheels, which to me are too stunning to change to silver. I wish the black wheels were matte not glossy.
I love yellow but just can't do it. - i am afraid i would tire of it.
Can you tell I've thought and thought about colors ? :-)
The good news is this is all personal taste and in truth, the GT3 looks incredible in pretty much every color offered.
