Macca: you are the envy of the entire forum. Well done on the pics. I've been a bit OCD at work today hitting refresh to see if you've posted more pics. Not only do we tip our collective hats for the awesome real-world pics, but also for the excellent editorial detail that's got the gang of us on the edge of our seats (albeit adaptive sport seats b/c racing carbon buckets not available here in the U.S.). I too am having the debate on color and LED vs. xenon. Love the classic look of the xenons (that look like eyes), and the nice classic racing-inspired "pop" of the bright white. SEND MORE PICS!!!!

Interior build spot on. Alloy inserts like billet. Quality very high for Porsche in recent years. Silver stitching perfect and low key. Heres a selfi for fun just after compliance guy took it for a wizz with me as passenger (not sure its allowed!) ...

Sorry guys battery on laptop died half way through posting more pics. Will have to wait another day as on BB now! Seats very good but no long journeys yet. Heated to! Ford and aft only but rake is perfect IMO. In shoes and clothes I'm 6.2 and 200lb and plenty room. Pdls xenons seem excellent but I still find xenon great and not sure what more you need although the LEDs will suit the tech heads for sure. Very happy with my options only 8.4k euro plus vat above list but balance just right. Leather dash no wart mats pdls clubsport with buckets standard wheels are perfect. Dark grey speckled like finish. Red belts dipping mirror rain sensor no navi but upgraded CDR. Top window tint silver stitch not red standard brakes no lift. Stance is great looks low but seems fine on inner city break overs and speed humps assumes you take it slow. Instruments and electronics all intuitive steering wheel suprisingly small which is great and paddles have real quality feel abd positive action although today mainly in auto as focusing on foreign rds wrong side etc. Good night!

Last post and update on Ory my mate who crashed his bike badly the day before we left. My wife still isn't sleeping well from memories being first on the scene. We finally got update from docs in sydney yesterday. They pulled him out of induced coma 5 fats and will put him under again tommorow. Broke ever rib broke both legs and arms one smashed very bad broke back three places and damaged every major internal organ ecept spinal cord and brain! Our boy is seriously lucky to be alive will be in hospital at least 2 months and will likelly be in pain a lot longer. All this while I live my dream. Makes me not wish to take a moment forgranted but also realise its not all about cars even though they are my true love! Health is more important than cars. Thanks to those who asked and apologies for the late update long way from home and comms haven't been very accomodative at euro hotels...

The issue with your mate surely puts things in perspective. So glad he's alive and hoping he will make a full recovery. Best to you, have fun, be safe.

Sorry to hear about your mate (missed earlier thread), hope he is on the long road to positive recovery. Congrats on the car, it is beautiful. Drive in good health and I'm very interested in your comments/likes/dislikes about the PDK. Suprised no mention of it yet, maybe that's a good thing ...

I must say that is one happy excited face. Who can blame you?

Looking forward to your driving report. I assume you will exceed 4000rpm's?
