He was just expressing an opinion guys.. Sheesh.. So sensitive LOL.

Going to walk to Moscone center here in SF tomorrow and catch the auto show... Hopefully they will have a gt3 on display.. And hopefully it will have the $150k red thread as an option ;-P

For chrissake man, why does everything coming out of your mouth involve some sort of condescending remark to others who don't find it necessary/worthwhile/smart to spend money on?

IMO, the car looks cleaner with the silver stitching. The red is too much and is borderline gaudy. Especially when it runs across the dashboard since you have to option with full leather. I understand the appeal of the red stitching, but prefer silver.

Why are you even optioning the car on your own? Don't you pay people to do that for you too? They have people for that, you know. LOL.

He's free do so and opinions are always welcome, but the way he does it is always in a condescending manner which ridicules people for not spending what he THINKS is the 'proper' money on a $150k car.

Let's do it. I don't have the clearance to do so on rennlist, but it would be great if someone started that poll.

So is the auto show in SF and LA at the same time? I was thinking of catching a flight to LA tomorrow so I can look at a 991 GT3 in person before my order is locked............................ And finalize the damn thread decision!

Yeah, although the LA show is bigger and has a longer run. It ends Sunday Dec. 1. The SF show started today and goes until Monday Dec. 2. I'm going to the SF show tomorrow. I hope there is a GT3 there so I can show my wife one in person.....

If you take the time to read the prior posts carefully you will note that red stitching was criticized for being too busy. I inserted my opinion as to why I thought otherwise.

You seem to have a problem with my posts. I suggest you don't read them (isn't there an ignore function?) and get on with your high strung life. I don't want you to stress out over internet posts. Not good for your health.

Pm me if you want to get a coffee there and chat cars. I'm thinking of heading over in the am... May even walk over from telegraph hill if we live in the same area.

Just left the LA show. Car looks amazing. Good thing I spoke to someone in Atlanta because the car was locked to everyone. They gave me opportunity to sit inside and and enjoy everything. I was immediately surrounded by everyone. Turned on the LED lights. I actually like them. Have lots of pics but my lap top died. Will load them on Monday.

Wait, you mean you can't touch the car if you don't get clearance from Porsche of NA? Maybe I won't bother going to LA this weekend.

A lot of attention at the show so they have it locked. You can get up close but the doors are kept locked.

LA had the GT3 and the Macan. SF didn't have either, at least not on Wednesday.
I think the Bay Area is not a big enough market for most auto companies to make a big showing.

The Porsche manager on site at the LA show said this is the only US spec car in the US at the moment. I don't believe they will be shipping it to San Francisco. It's headed for Atlanta after the show.
