@JCBH -- Looking forward to your initial impressions...with tons of pictures, of course!
I'm also in SoCal. Curious to know if the cars are really all being delivered in covered transport with lift...

I've got this from my salesman on 6th: "Your MSRP sticker was printed today and the car was released for transport." - is that the same thing? Nothing since then. Maybe it's there already and they are just taking turns doing burnouts at a parking lot somewhere?

Could be as someone said that they are waiting to fill up a truck. Who knows. It is all such a mystery.

COME ON!!!! Only two hours from LA and one hour from Long Beach if my white car got dropped off there. I'm going crazy!! I hope I get it before my birthday(17th). I already have clear side markers waiting and black headlights on order. I need to also get my wheels painted satin black.

Yes, it's the same thing. So obviously "released for transport" isn't a guarantee that the car will immediately be on a truck. Since it appears that the GT3's get singular treatment in terms of how they are shipped, maybe it makes sense (from Porsche's standpoint anyway) that they wait until they have a full load before dispatching a special transporter. It's possible they are waiting for enough Bay Area cars to make it worth their while to come up here......
