So... the "scud" version of the 458 has finally arrived... and OMG it has some salacious details.
135hp/liter
605 horsepower at 9,000 rpmP
398 lb-ft at 6,000 rpmP
2,843 lbs (1290kg) dry weight, a 90kg savingP
3.0 seconds for 0-62 mphP
9.1 seconds for 0-124 mphP
1 min 23.5 sec Fiorano lap time, 1.5 seconds faster than a 458 Italia
SSC (slide slip angle control)
movable and responsive aero front and rear
alcantara breast implants for the passenger (NOT a coincidence)
weird pole-looking phallic object in center console which is NOT a shifter (also NOT a coincidence)
how many 991 gt3 buyers on this forum are also 458 speciale buyers? Since the GT3 is all I can afford and want to spend on a car.. I'll be curious to hear thoughts from those of you who can have multiple exotics like this in the garage.

Well, that thing has to be what, 320k for regular Ferrari customers and like 360-400 for anyone looking to get in the game no? Thats just such another league VS a 160k gt3 IMHO. But all said that thing has to RIP.

yea.. you can't really make a price comparison... and Kosmo is correct, I should have written gt3 rs... however, philosophically it's comparable and should be used in a realistically similar fashion by owners (street driving, some starbucks, some touring, some track)

actually looks pretty good except for the wheels; they should have used bbs ch's again.
the rear looks fantastic.
sad that porsche doesn't make something nowadays like this that really excites.

Ferrari sent me this link.

BTW, according to Porsche sources, the 991TTS beats the 991Gt3 around the Ring by a couple of seconds.

Will you take a look at how much this car costs?!
Not to mention we've been complaining for months now(myself included) about the loss of the manual transmission in the GT3,when was the last time the Fiat had a manual?
This thing is a piece of work,no doubt and with that weight/power it will probably destroy everything at the track!

Off topic but..... I don't like the manufacturer's trend of incorporating the model numbers or outline of the car shape into the gauge display areas, I know what I'm driving I don't need a pictograph to remember yet.

After seeing that site...it's interesting that all sports car manufacturers are touting "emotional" response / connection nowadays. We get it! These aren't meant to be soulless machines!
