This (991 GT3 Cup) has just been snapped by one of the workers setting up the show in Geneva. No images of our 991 GT3 yet tho! I have just received confirmation that Porsche is meeting dealers at the show to discuss 991 GT3 market pricing and availability (confirmed for Euro summer delivery), so it must be there....

PS: I will come back to you Ring time guessing..once we know more. But I guess your 7:28..you mentioned..

Thanks for the picture..but you really think Porsche will set the price after meeting dealers..where prices are auctioned like on ebay? Prices are already fixed..down to the last €.

With the street GT3 still in the ether, I wonder if the factory isn't still scrambling to finalize at least to the point of plausibility in terms of changes that will creep into the production car. I'm guessing they've had a helluva time building a car in 2013 that holds a candle to the logic and simplicity of previous GT3's.

If by in the ether you mean under a cover in Geneva, then yes. I suspect everything about the car is final; word is it will be on the Porsche web site configurator by the end of the week......

Andreas.
Mike is correct.
It may be just a translation thing.
What Im told by a European dealer flying to Geneva tomorrow for meetings with Porsche is that the price will be "given to him" if you like during a meeting on Wednesday, benefits and features will be discussed and configurable options and their pricing will be disclosed and confirmed. I guess a large part of Porsche's (and their dealers) is to sell "options" as the margin is no doubt rich for these. I suspect however the big push on additional options will remain with the dealer when talking with their 991 Turbo clients. The dealer I received an email from also indicated he would be discussing upcoming models with Porsche (maybe just variants of announced product etc or could be new baby 4WD etc).
Anyway, my statement was not supposed to intimate the price has not been set. It sure has and you will find my views and commentary in previous posts on this thread. FYI Im still "guessing" 116,000 Euro + VAT base spec as Ive previously stated.
I think 7.28 is still a very realistic figure for the 991 GT3. Porsche may announce a softer time but I think youll find that gets dealt too pretty quickly by the German automotive press...
If you have valuable opinion, insight or contribution on the new 991 GT3 glad to hear it. We are only hours away from knowing the real facts now so something to pass the time is welcome.
PS. Mike2727. I highly suspect you are right. The road car will likely debut in the white.
