So now I have tried two different dongles.
1. The Dashlynx did not work at all - even after hours with tech support
2. The Carlinkit 4.0 works but the resolution does not match the car and the image is too large so I cannot access the menu buttons under the map, (see photo). After multiple attempts at changing the dongle resolution and dealing with their tech support, they determined that it is not compatible with my 24 Macan.
Does anyone have the same 24 Macan and has been able to get one of the dongles to work correctly? If so, which one?

The Carlinkit works perfectly for me in the 991.2 GT3 RS. I am very pleased with the functionality and glad I purchased it.

same think with me -2019 gt3rs - ,I've installed CarlinKit CarPlay Ai CPC-200 T-Box Plus with the slot for up to 138GB memory card in it and it runs on Android 13 , tales about 7s to but .

I was sad to see how the thread was derailed and became an advertisement for Dashlynx. That was not my intent and many times I wanted to reply stating that… but as a site sponsor and because he was so adamant that his company was American made and support our country, I let it go.
My experience with the Jemluse unit from Amazon has been fantastic. It links with my phone faster than in my 2022 Audi RS6 and has been equal, if not better than the RS6’s daily performance in Apple CarPlay. Some of this could be that the Audi somehow wants to default into the Audi MMI instead of using CarPlay.
I will say that my experience with CarPlay and the Porsche Classic radio in my 964 has also been great!
for those who want to keep it looking period correct, I put the USB /Aux input box in the ashtray. Obviously, I can close it when not in use and pardon the fingerprints on the screen, I was so excited that it worked and had to take a pic before the job was complete.
