Question for those of you who know how the side scripts are suppose to look. Do they look accurate in those pics. For some reason they almost appear to be at a slight angle where they go up slightly towards the back of the car. Not sure if this is a visual illusion because the side skirts are painted. These were factory ordered cxx side scripts, but I believe originals were removed for PPF and then new oem stickers were reapplied over the PPF. I just don’t know enough about the correct placement or location on these and where they start and finish. I assume they should appear to be parallel to the ground.

15k is only high in this forum. In reality, it’s low mileage. If it’s been loved and had good routine maintenance, then 15k is a non-issue. Being able to talk to the original owner and others who know the car is huge.
Absolutely agree....

That is also how mine look. Compare the placement of the script to the front and rear wheel hubs.

Edit: I think you should buy the car, no regrets, especially if you have open roads to let it get a proper exercise. If stop and go interstate or city street driving is your use, maybe not.

Besides the color, it's lightly spec'd with extra cosmetic options and a couple CXX goodies. Great classic touring in a nice color. Just debating if I want to spend that much.
Good intel thank you. Let us know what you decide to do. Good luck!

I think gluing leather on the urethane dash of a barren car that’s supposed to be a homologation special makes very little sense.

tmls in the service manual stands for "thousand miles", so it is actually 24K miles or 4 years (whatever happens first)

Me too.

Anyone with Touring's planning on attending Luftgekuhlt? I'll be there Saturday.

Passed for now. Sold a couple days after I looked at it to a PTS collector apparently.

Might go up in mine. But might also take my carpool buddies Targa.
