With the air dam you should be fine, but hey in the desert with fine sand it probably wouldn't hurt.

Shouldn't our cars be backed on the trailer so weight is closer to the trailer tongue.

1 - i think youll be fine plus dont you have ppf?
2 - ive loaded them front first and backed on the trailer and it didn't make a difference. on most trailers only the left side fender folds down and climbing through the window or crawling to the other side gets old.

With the airdam you should be fine. Arguably less risk to the car sitting on the trailer than if you were just driving it around normally.

Actually depends on the location of the trailer axles wrt to the car/platform. In the picture above, you can see that the car is in reality placed pretty far forwards in this perspective.

Thanks all.

I dislike PPF for many reasons.
Backing on the Air Dam is 42" tall the Rear Spoiler is 47" with the angle of attack in reverse it would stress the mounts inside the spoiler.
The Aluma 8218LP was made for me with 4 brakes and welded L track trying to also take 4 motorcycles next trip.
Ultimately it's for my Can Am X3XRS.

Thanks again for all the input
Ian

So nice to see another tilt trailer user. My 2014 has been great. For your question, I think the air dam has you covered.

Last Update

The front Air Dam did a great job not a mark on the RS from the 635 mile trip up to NC. No Track tape installed.

Thanks again for all the advice.
