Center Locks are a PITA (pain in the a$$)
Not any more!
Below is a highly technical, high-production demonstration video.
I've had this tool for about a month and I've changed out my wheels about 5 times. I did my 14th track day since owning the car. I needed to pull the rear wheels off to have a good look at the rear brake pads. They're still good, I had to replace the fronts after 10 track days. It looks like I'll be getting 15-20 track days out of the rears running Ferodo DS3.12, with the AP Racing brake kit.

Nice, I will probably track 50+ days this year. I will probably be swapping wheels about every other time. I have two sets of Forgeline 19”’s and the stock 20”, 21” as well. I’ve done about 2K track miles so far since I bought the car in October. I’m 60 years old, with a back that’s not too happy with the big torque wrench.
This is great for me.

I needed help when I first got the tool, I contacted the manufacturer (Hytorc) and they gave me the contact info for my local service rep. I live in the Phoenix area and I have a guy here that can calibrate and service my tool. I had a long conversation with him, he was very interested in what I'm using the tool for. He thought I paid too much for the tool. They sell the base tool for $3999, but this comes pre-programmed to do the Porsche torque dance. The service rep said that one could easily program the tool to do the same thing. The only other thing is the bracing bar that comes with this kit has a plastic tube that braces and protects the wheel. I'm not sure where you could source that.
I also purchased a second battery from the manufacturer for about $150.

This looks like a great device! I sold my 991.1 C4 GTS Aero cup because the Center Locks were such a PITA. They are not true center locks and more safety oriented committee designed marking voodoo than race functional. Have not purchased several GT3's because of the center locks. Bought a Turbo Exclusive totally custom ordered car because I specced it with 5 lug wheels and non-ceramic brakes! This might bring me back into the Center Lock fray... Will be watching for more reports...

Source a block of Delrin from your nearest industrial plastics supplier and then turn it and bore it on your lathe.

I'm getting an error message when trying to remove and loosen. Does that mean my wheels were torqued too high? https://photos.app.goo.gl/E7e5zVYDPp2sDPiV6 Angle Failure. Out of torque range. Loosen nut and start again

$3-400 4:1 torque multiplier & my trusted CDI torque wench that I use for everything else too. Packs small. Couldnt justify the $5k but sure , id take one for free in a heartbeat

I too have used my Stanley Proto 1:6 (1200) for about 5 years with a torque wrench. I found it works really well. I also found that changing wheels at the track still took to much time, though it was easier than using the Precision Torque Wrench and breaker bar. I have had my Hytorc for about 8 months now and all I can say is that it was worth the money. I thought long and hard about the price. I figured after I sell my Precision Torque wrench that I no longer used and the Proto torque multiplier plus the resale value on the Hytorc, the cost was not that great given the benefit.

The worst part about the center locks is the dam grease, it goes everywhere.
